Paul E. Sackett

Newcastle, Wyo. -- Services for Paul E. Sackett, 81, of Newcastle, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at McColley's Funeral Home in Newcastle by the Rev. Richard Holmes.

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Newcastle.

Mr. Sackett died Thursday at the Weston County Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 16, 1900, in Crook County, the son of Morris and Lydia Sackett. He lived on his parents (sic) ranch until he was 7 and moved to Fidler Creek Ranch in Weston County. He worked with his father on the family ranch. Later he was employed by other ranchers. He retired 10 years ago and moved to Osage. In 1980 he moved to Newcastle.

Sackett is survived by two sisters, Zella Sackett of Sundance and Lucinda Kester of Joshua Tree, Calif., three nieces and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
