"Antonio Figueroa, a member of the Figueroa family who have lived in Benson many years, died in a hospital at Douglas July 28, of kidney and bladder trouble. Antionio was born March 8, 1885 at Benson. He was one among the first employees of the Apache Powder Company.
Requiem Mass was said at Our Lady of Lourdes at 10 a.m. last Monday, and interment took place in the afternoon. Being one of the oldest and most prominent Spanish speaking families of Benson, attendance at funeral services and burial was unusually large. Rev. Father Castillo conducted all services.
Antonio leaves a wife, several children, three sisters and mother and father."
