Thomas Williams was in the Volunteers in Wellington during the New Zealand Wars. He was the second husband of Emma Hunt, and the father of Thomas Patrick Williams, and William Frederick John Williams of Westport. At the time of the death he was a "waterman".
NOTE: Whether or not Thomas was actually buried at Bolton Street is uncertain, however this is the most likely burial place for Thomas in Wellington at this time.
