Stokes, Shirley A., 84, of Robinson she was called home December 29, 2017 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born April 3, 1933 in Robinson, the daughter of late Jerry A. and Bessie (Little) Lear. Also preceded in death by brother Jerry Lear, Jr.; sisters Sara Miller and Margaret Dominy. Survived by husband of 66 years Carl "Dick" Stokes, children Richard Stokes and wife Sally, Cramer; Ronald Stokes and wife Rhonda, Dallas, NC; Rob Stokes and wife Barb, New Florence; Debbie Brinton and husband Geoff, Lexington, KY; Lori Hollobaugh and husband Hooch, Dilltown. Grandchildren Jennifer Eritano and husband Bobby; Heather Strong and husband Matt; Christopher Stokes and wife Tracy; Courtney Cahoon and husband Glen; Ty Hoffman and wife Leighann; Angel Hoffman; Cullen Stokes and wife Brandy; Tyler Stokes and girlfriend Lindsay, Ryan Dupre; Susan Sauers and husband Jake; Benjamin and wife Emily Hollobaugh. 18 great-grandchildren. Sisters Jean Miller, Herndon, VA; Linda Shetler, Robinson and brother Wib Lear, Robinson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Shirley was a member of Robinson Evangelical United Methodist Church where she served in with the Helping Hands Fellowship. She was also a member of the Robinson VFW Ladies Aux. Friends received noon till time of service 2 PM Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St, New Florence. Rev. Mark Griffith and Pastor Kim Betz officiating. Interment Bolivar Germany Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial donations in Shirley's name may be made to Robinson Evangelical United Methodist Church Building Fund.
