Billy Mac died Jan. 22 at a Temple hospital. He was born in Coleman, TX on November 14, 1940 to Henry and Lorene Allman.
Billy Mac lived in the Central Texas area for the majority of his life. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoyed beginning new ventures. Billy Mac also had a love for motorcycles and riding. His largest claim to fame was making the cover of Easy Rider Magazine in the 70's.
Billy Mac is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Louise Parker who died of Lupus.
He is survived by his sister Rita Elmore of Gatesville and his children Mark Allman of Waco, Marty Allman of Pidcoke, Jeff Allman of Waco, and Maria Haun of Killeen. In his later days he most enjoyed visiting with his 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday January 25th from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
