She was a member of Williamsport UM Church and the Women's Bible class of the church; Broadfording Homemakers Club. She was chaplain and treasurer of Women's Democratic club in Williamsport and chaplain of the Democratic Central Committee.
She is survived by her husband, John E. Hoffman; daughter, Mrs. Helen V. Enevoldsen, Camp Springs; son, Ralph T. Dean, Bloomfield, NM; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Judd, Shenandoah, Va.; Mrs. Edna Sniegoski, Alexandria, Va.; and Mrs. Mattie Batman, Stanley, Va.; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Services were held at Williamsport UM Church. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
