Suggested edit: I think it was the 1880 Census where I saw that Roswell Franklin had given his boys the name "Franklin" for each child. William Franklin Cyrus, Franklin "Doc" Carnahan Cyrus, and Bernard "B." Cyrus, who didn't know his middle name, but chose the letter "B" for a middle initial. He was named after his uncle, Bernard Franklin Cyrus.

Suggested edit: "He was named after his uncle, Bernard Franklin Cyrus." Change that to Bernard Franklin Lockwood before everyone goes crazy trying to find this "Cyrus" uncle! Many thanks!
