John was born March 7, 1929 in Newcastle, Wyoming to Abyron Forrest Cole and Carrie Jane (Moore) Cole. He married lorraine Feaster February 2, 1952 in New Mexico. They made their home in Sunnyside, Yakima Co., Washington where John worked as a mechanic. When they retired they lived in Silver Creek near Mayfield Lake in Washington. They had two children, Carla Jean and John Duane.
