Julia Bius Lastinger, 88, of Pace, FL., formerly of Moultrie, GA., died Saturday, January 20, 2018.
Born September 15, 1929 in Sylvester, GA., she was the daughter of the late Jake T. Bius and Minona Hortman Bius.
Mrs. Lastinger retired from Riverside Manufacturing Company as the shipping and service department manager and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Her family remembers how she loved her family and was an avid cook, quilter and gardener.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elvah Rommie Lastinger.
Survivors include her sons, Roger LaDon Lastinger and wife Kay of Pace, FL., Malcolm Roy Lastinger and wife Barbara of Franklin, N.C.; grandchildren, Roger Lastinger II and wife Katie, Jennifer Trahan and husband B.J., Stephen Lastinger and wife Tracy, Jay Servatius and wife Stephanie, Julie Shearer and husband Andrew, Julia Weis and husband Keith; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Winona B. Herbik of Moultrie, GA. and other family members.
