Radie "Rada" Elizabeth Rydalch 96, died Mar. 21, 2007 in the Life Care Center in Idaho Falls. She was born Dec. 24, 1910 in Egin, the daughter of John Willie Palmer and Etna May Wardle Palmer. She spent all of her life on the Egin Bench.
She was married to Clarence Ray Rydalch on Nov. 20, 1929 in St. Anthony. In l940 they bought the Chandler Farm in Plano where they have both since resided. Mr. Rydalch died May 26, 1994.
Rada served as Relief Society president and had many other callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Later in life she cherished a little sunbeam class she taught. She loved to cook for her family and was an excellent bread maker. She loved to travel with her husband, including trips to Cuba and Hawaii.
She is survived by her children: DeWaine (Judy) Rydalch, Rexburg, Vernal (Annie) Rydalch, Idaho Falls, and Della Jean (Buzz) Harris, South Jordan, Utah, 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and two siblings Roy and Lowell Palmer both of Egin.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bob, Glennis and Eugene, five sisters, Ollie Parkinson, Geneva Robertson, Luella Orr, Zella and Martha Palmer (both infants).
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Plano Ward Chapel with Bishop Randy Brown, officiating.
Family and friends will meet Friday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Bidwelll Funeral Home in St. Anthony and for one hour prior to the services at the Plano Church. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery.
