John William Allen of Old Hickory, TN passed away on January 20, 2018 in Davidson County. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Howard Allen and Lula Angeline Payne Allen.
He is survived by his son, Chris (Connie) Quinn; daughter, Christi Ruppel; grandchildren, Matthew Walczyk, Ryan Ruppel, Michael (Kayla) Quinn, Stephanie Quinn; great-grandchildren, Avery Quinn, Jaxson Quinn, Alivia Armstreet, Cayson Hoppe; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John was an avid fisherman and squirrel hunter. He served in the U.S. Army infantry, U.S. Navy and a former P.O.W. of Vietnam. John was a wonderful man who touched the lives of so many, he will truly be missed.
Burial in Spring Hill Cemetery.
