Allen DeGrove Padgett, age 23, 3865 Stichman Avenue, was born October 8, 1947 in Monrovia, California. He died in Loma Linda, California on December 10, 1970. He had been a resident of Baldwin Park for 23 years.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. W. DeGrove Padgett of Baldwin Park and a brother, Dwayne Padgett of Baldwin Park.
Allen DeGrove Padgett was a graduate of Baldwin Park Seventh-Day Adventist school; San Gabriel Academy; La Sierra College (pre-dental) and was a third year dental student at Loma Linda University Dental school.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Montecito Memorial Park. Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial chapel, Loma Linda, will be in charge.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that Memorial donations be made to the Loma Linda University Cancer Research Center.
