Her faith, love and care will be greatly missed, but we know she has returned to live with her Heavenly Father once more. Marcia was born October 5, 1930 in the small town of Conneaut, Ohio. She was the only child of Francis (Dutch) Clifford and Frances Evelyn Tower Bryant. Marcia graduated from Conneaut High School and received her bachelor's degree from Muskingum College in Ohio. She completed nurses training at Case Western Reserve in Ohio and later completed her Master's Degree in public health nursing at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. She was married to Elmer Louis Amma (deceased) and while married they had one daughter, Frances Kay Amma (Gutierrez). Marcia worked as a nurse in her younger years and then was both a supervisor of public health nursing and as the assistant director for public health nursing at the Clark County Health Department in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was employed at the Health Dept. for 27 years. Marcia was baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1970 along with both her mother and daughter and she served faithfully there all the remainder of her life. She was a strong minded and spiritual woman who recognized the hand of the Lord in her life daily. She had an unconditional love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Marcia also had a great love for serving others. There was always a special feeling of peace and love in her home and she carried that feeling with her where ever she went.
