Cora Jobe Shepherd, 95, Ripley, died April 13, 1977 at Tippah County Hospital. She was the youngest and last surviving of 10 children of the late Samuel Boone and Jane Poff Jobe. She was married to the late Thomas C. Shepherd, and moved to Ripley where she livedfor 72 years until her death. Services were April 14, at McBride Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Antioch Cemetery.. Survivors include five children, Bill Shepherd, deceased, T.C. Shepherd, Jackson, TN, Jim Shepherd, Portsmouth, VA, Lucille Tomlinson, Holly Springs and Pauline (Polly) Ray, Geneva, AL: one half sister, Fannie Jobe by Caroline Vaughn Jobe; 4 grandchildren and 5 g-grandchildren.
