HAMMON - Marlene M., 79, of Louisville, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 at her home. She was a Pioneer of Bell South and retired from their Benefit Department. Marlene is survived by her husband of 42 years, Walter E. Hammon; children, Kristina Muir (Ron), Karen S. Becht (Richard), Donna K. Davis and Karla J. Russell (Brian). She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A celebration of Marlene's life will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2012 at the funeral home.
