Born in Clarendon County he was a son of the late Dewey Vance Barrineau and Palmer Floyd Barrineau. He was a retired farmer, Teacher and Coach at East Clarendon Middle/High School, served on East Clarendon District 3 School Board, a co-founder of Barrineau Recreation Department, a member of Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he served as Usher, Sunday School Teacher, Church Secretary/Treasurer, and was a Deacon.
He is preceded in death by two sisters Gladys Daniels, Ilene Moore; two brothers Curtis Barrineau, Lyndell Barrineau.
