Paul Ray Baker, age 76 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 in Harrison.
The son of Raymond James and Cornelia (Harris) Baker was born on June 3, 1941 in Leslie, Arkansas.
Paul loved hunting and fishing and was an avid outdoorsmen. He loved dinking coffee and always knew the best place to find a great cup. Most of all, Paul loved his kids and grandkids and truly enjoyed the time he got to spend with them.
He was preceded by his parents and one son, Rusty Sanders.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mava Baker of the home; two sons, Joel Baker and wife Juanita of Green Forest, Arkansas and Jeff Sanders and wife Taesha of Harrison; two daughters, Beth Phelps and husband Billy of Springdale, Arkansas and Melissa Jones and husband Richard of Harrison; a daughter-in-law, Lana Sanders of Harrison; two brothers, Ben Baker and wife Judy of Marshall, Arkansas and David Baker and wife Thelma of Leslie, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren, Whitney Roberts, Tyler Baker, Krystal Miller, Kimberly Peek, Jessi Phelps, Kimmie Davis, Trey Sanders, Trent Sanders, Hunter Sanders, Lexi Sanders, Rilee Jones, Maegan Peacock and Jacinda Freeland; 17 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Services will be held Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Bobby Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the chapel preceding the service from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.
Pallbearers include Hunter Sanders, Trey Sanders, Trent Sanders, Tyler Baker, Richard Jones, Jeff Sanders and Billy Phelps. Honorary pallbearers are the "early" morning coffee crew at Hardee's.
