FIND A GRAVE HAS MADE INCORRECT EDITS to this record. There were 2 ISAACS at the time, RED IKE, (mem.#35895250) son of Isaac Tipton, and BLACK IKE( mem.#29066640), POSSIBLY son of Samuel 1722-1822. (Mem. #7704421). Jacob, Samuel and Abraham were NOT children of Isaac Perry Tipton.
Isaac Perry was born to Jane Perry, b. about 1779, and the bachelor Isaac Tipton, b. 1763 Cedar Creek, Shenandoah, Virginia, d. 1827 Carter County, Tennessee. In February of 1819, in Carter County Court, Isaac legitimized his son Isaac Perry, and an illegitimate daughter, Polly Anglin, and made them his heirs. Isaac became Isaac Perry Tipton, and Polly became Polly Tipton.
