Sydonia N. Wilson of Sonora, Texas passed peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on January 14.
Sydonia was born June 17, 1929 in Harper, Texas to Fred and Jennie Nichols. On June 18, 1947 she married Robert “Ruggie” Wilson and in March of 1961 they welcomed their daughter Jennie into the world. Throughout her life, Sydonia exemplified the importance of a loving relationship with God, family, and the community. She was adored by those that knew her. Sydonia’s hobbies included sewing, crocheting, trying new recipes, and singing.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mother, Father and siblings. Sydonia is survived by her daughter Jennie Swyter of Eldorado, 3 Grandchildren Jesse Crawford, Jaclyn Gregory and Rhapsody Luna, 3 Great grandchildren, Daryn, Lydia and Jack, and her dear friend Linda Fisher, whom we will be forever grateful to. We would also like to thank Schleicher County Nursing Home and Kindred Hospice for their loving care and attention.
Graveside services will be Thursday the 18th, 2pm at the Sonora Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you spend time with your loved ones, and try a new recipe.
