Vernon Leroy Koch, 77, of Osceola, AR died March 11, 2003 at Osceola Health Care. Born Oct 1, 1925 in Puxico, MO. He was a US Navy veteran and had worked as a parts manager and was a member of Brinkley Chapel Baptist Church in Etowah.

Survivors include three sons, Don of Hot Springs, Roy of Las Vegas, NV and David of Osceola; a daughter Jean Bishop of Van Buren; a stepson, Clay Battles of Etowah, three stepdaughters, Lisa Battles, Donna Battles, and Patty Battles; two sisters, Mary Davis of Flint, MI., and Wanda Fowler of ID, a brother, Emery Koch of St Louis; six grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; and three step great grandchildren.

Services were held with Wilson Funeral Home in charge and Dale Walker officiating. Burial was in Garden Point Cemetery.
