NONNA MARIE LYTLE, 77, of Arcola, IL passed away at 9:47 P.M. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Care Center.
Nonna’s family would like to welcome friends and relatives at her home in Arcola, IL anytime between 1:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 3, 2018. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Nonna was born on July 27, 1940 in Mattoon, IL. She was a daughter of Glen Perry and Louise Mary (Ponton) Abercrombie. She married James Max Lytle on August 3, 1959 in East St. Louis, IL. He passed away on April 27, 2011.
Survivors include three children, Carol Ingram and her husband Duane of Arcola, IL, Toni Lytle of Mattoon, IL and James Glen “Bud” Lytle of Pinckneyville, IL; seven grandchildren, Dusty Ingram and his wife Jennifer of Arcola, IL, Jim Ingram of New York City, Andy Ingram and his wife Courtney of Arcola, IL, Amber Hapuarachy and her husband Shane of Los Angeles, CA, Brooks Rardin and his wife Alaina of Arcola, IL, Ty Lytle and his fiancé Katy Dillow of Mattoon, IL and Josh Lytle of Norfolk, VA; nine great-grandchildren, Parker and Chloe Ingram, Max and Evan Rardin, Ty and Bryn Lytle, Knox and Bo Hapuarachy, and Madison Ingram; and one brother, Paul David Abercrombie and his wife (Mary) of Lebanon, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother, Edward Dorn.
Nonna was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
She loved to travel and entertain guests at her home. Her home was the gathering place for friends and family every morning for coffee and any other special occasion that would arise.
Nonna had a special love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she got to spend Christmas 2017 with each and every one of them.
