Joyce D. Ashcraft, 85, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, January 16th. She was born in Glenwood, Arkansas to parents W. O. and Florence Fuller and was a lifelong Arkansas resident. Joyce graduated from Harding University in 1953.

Joyce worked for Southwestern Bell for 10 years and then taught students in the North Little Rock School District at Lynch Drive and Indian Hills Elementary Schools for twenty five years. She had a heartfelt passion for helping children and feeding the hungry. She was a long time member of the Sixth & Izard and Sylvan Hills Churches of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Haskell Fuller; her husband of 54 years, Eugene Ashcraft and granddaughter, Caroline Koettel. Joyce is survived by her daughters Debbi (Bill) Ramsey and Patti (Rodney) Koettel; grandchildren Stephanie (Terrill) Newton, Eric Ramsey, Molly White Ramsey, Tyler Koettel and Seth Koettel; great-grandchildren Tinley Newton, Allie Ramsey and Baby Boy Newton who is expected in February.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 19th at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, Ark. A visitation with the family will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. on Thursday night at the Rest Hills Funeral Home.
