Her family moved to Coldwater, Michigan, and in 1862 she married Henry S. Nye. They were the parents of one child, Mrs. Eva M. Myers, who was with her at her death. Mr. Nye died in 1878, and in 1889 she married L. G. Abbott and moved to Olympia. Besides her husband and daughter, she was survived by two sisters, Mrs. Louise Franklin, of Chicago, and Mrs. F. G. Shelden, of Coldwater, and one brother, George A. Harmon, of Coldwater. Her obituary was published in the Morning Olympian on Thursday, August 10, 1899.
