Mary Helen Caffey Brandon passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 95 years on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Mary was born on October 5, 1922, to the late Thomas Fletcher and Mary Florence (Latimer) Caffey near Anson, TX. On November 14, 1942, she married the love of her life, J.F. Brandon in Post, Texas. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, and an excellent cook. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Tahoka. After her children left home she went to Cosmetology school and worked as a beautician for several years. A few years later, she and her husband, Judge Brandon, moved to Lubbock to be near their children and joined South Park Baptist Church in Lubbock. Judge Brandon preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 2009.

Mary is survived by her two children, Diane Grammer and Johnny Brandon both of Lubbock; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
