On January 11, 2018, at 95 years young, Eugene Fox left this world to be with his Lord.
Eugene was born October 16, 1922 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and graduated College High School after which he joined the Army to serve his country. A War World II veteran, he bravely served in the 51st Engineers and drove veterans to and from the Tulsa VA Medical Center for many years.

After the war, Eugene served his community with his small business doing septic contracting and backhoe services.

A proud member of the Cherokee nation, Eugene was active with the local Washington County Cherokee Association and was recognized for his military service by the Cherokee Nation.

He loved his church, Bluestem Baptist Church and served on their board of Deacons for over 45 years. He actively participated in the Copan Senior Center.

Eugene is immediately survived by his current wife, Edna Lorine Fox and her family, sons Ray Fox and wife Gayle, Tim Fox and wife Michelle and daughter Keeley Mancuso. He was especially proud of his Granddaughters Andrea McNeil, Jena Fox and Tara Fox and great grandchildren, Audrey and Cullen McNeil. He is also survived by siblings Mamie Asay, Paul Fox, Robert Fox, John Fox and Betsy Cobler, their families, and the families of Charley and Roy Fox. Preceding him in death were his parents, Mary Daugherty Fox and Wesley F. Fox, Siblings Charley and Roy Fox, Fronia Bourne and Rubye White, and first wife Patty Louise Fox.

Beloved by all, Eugene, aka known as Foxy and the Gentle Giant, loved life, was always on the go and was always happy to see you.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Eugene on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2pm at the Bluestem Baptist Church, 327 E Durham Ave, Dewey, OK 74029, following a fellowship potluck luncheon at noon. Viewing will be held from 8 am to 8 pm on Thursday, January 18 at Stumpff Funeral Home, 1600 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006.
