Jean S. Morrow, 83, Carthage, Mo., passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007, at her home.
Mrs. Morrow was born Nov. 14, 1923, in St. Louis, Mo., to George A. Sinclair and Hilda (Allen) Sinclair. She was a graduate of the Visitation Academy, St. Louis, and attended Webster College, St. Louis.
She married Samuel R. Morrow Jr. on Sept. 21, 1947, in Carthage.
Mrs. Morrow was a former member of the Carthage P.E.O. Chapter and the McCune-Brooks Hospital Auxiliary. Jean was a loving wife and mother who received great joy in being with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Sam Morrow Jr., of the home; one daughter, Mary Claus and husband, Jim, Wilton, Conn.; one son, Sam Morrow III and wife, Andrea, Woodlands, Texas; and three grandchildren, Stephen Morrow, Atlanta, Ga., Scott Morrow, Dallas, Texas, and Jeanne Costa and husband, Jordan, New York, N.Y.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Carthage. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Carthage.
Memorial gifts are suggested to Trinity Hospice, Joplin, or St. Ann's Endowment Fund in care of Knell Mortuary, Carthage.
