Beryl A. Robinson, age 87, of Sedan, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Sedan.

He was born Sept. 1, 1920 in Moline to E. E. and Myrta Marie (Cunningham) Robinson. He attended and graduated from Moline High School.

On Octobe 5, 1941 he married Norma Jean Copeland in Sedan. In September of 1942, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served until he was honorably discharged in November of 1945. After his discharge from the Army, he started Robinson Tank Cleaning and also owned and operated oil leases until the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean in 2001. He was a lifelong resident of Chautauqua County.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #141 in Sedan, and was a past member of the Sedan Country Club. He enjoyed playing golf and mowing his yard.

He is survived by one daughter, Rose of Sedan, one brother, Bob Robinson of Baxter Springs, one sister-in-law, Doris of Grove, OK, five grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren, and his companion, Margaret of Sedan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean, his son John, and one daughter Becky, his parents, one sister, and one brother.

Cremation has taken place.
