Dianne accepted Christ at an early age in her life and was a faithful member of Mt. Alto Baptist Church in Howardsville. Dianne attended public schools in Albemarle County and graduated from Albemarle High School in 1973 and Piedmont, Virginia Community College in 1978. She worked various jobs in the Charlottesville area to include being secretary in the Charlottesville Police Department's Investigations Division, and substitute teaching at Greenbrier Elementary and Walker Middle School in Charlottesville. Dianne was a loving housewife and mother to her husband and three children. She was the Past Worthy Matron of Morning Star- Chapter # 55, 0.2.5 Esmont, VA. Her favorite pastimes included, cooking, taking trips with the family, listening to various types of music, and cheering on the N.F.L's Dallas Cowboys.
Dianne will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind to mourn her passing one sister, Etta Solomon Miller and her husband Judge Curtis Miller of Lithonia, GA.; her loving husband of thirty-two years, Lawrence R. Brown, Sr., two sons, William D. Brown of Charlottesville, VA. and Mark A. Brown of Broadway, VA, one daughter, Danielle A. Brown, of Charlottesville, VA, one niece, Gabrielle C. Miller of Lithonia, GA., one granddaughter, Akasha Dianne Brown of Broadway, VA, and cousin, Shirley Solomon Parrish of Charlottesville, VA.
A memorial service was held at Teague Funeral Home, Charlottesville, VA.
