Steven Lee Adkins Obituary
HAMPTON - Steven Lee Adkins, 69, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. He was a native and lifelong resident of Hampton. For over 50 years, he worked in the shipbuilding profession and was a ship designer with Gibbs and Cox. Hobbies and interests included being involved in Civil War reenactments, fishing and being on the water, and BMX bike activities with his son. His late wife, Joan C. Adkins, precedes him in rest. Also preceding in rest are his parents, Chester Elmore and Odette Marie Farmer Adkins. Steven is survived by his wife, Linda Adkins; sons, Victor Fowler and wife Nadia, and Michael Adkins and wife Caitlin; daughter, Katrin Blamey and husband Chad; grandchildren, Owen Blamey, Reid Blamey, Tanner Adkins, Faith Adkins and Caleb Adkins; and brother, Jerry Adkins.
