He was the son of the late Perry and Effie Ganung Gaylord of Moreland.
He operated his own farm and was a member of the Olive Branch Grange. He also was a member of the Moreland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Gaylord; a son, Jack Gaylord, Moreland; two grandchildren; a step-brother, James Moore of Beaver Dames; a step-sister, Mrs. Ethelyn Considine, Cleveland, Ohio.
The funeral will be held in the Moreland Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Montour Falls Cemetery.
