Earline Louise (Hooper) Peterson was born on October 23, 1928 in Lexington, Texas to Lawrence McDonald Hooper and Hazel Temperance Gay Hooper. She was united in marriage to Carl Adolph Peterson on June 18, 1954 at Lexington Full Gospel Tabernacle Church by Rev. Ray Owens. They were blessed with two children, David and Dianne. Earline was a loving and devoted homemaker who lived in Lexington her entire life. She enjoyed playing the piano and her passions in life were God and her family.

Earline passed away during the early morning hours of Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Lexington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Hazel Hooper; her husband of 63 years, Carl Peterson; three sisters, Marjorie White, Margaret Bryan and Marie Kotrla and two brothers, Lawrence G. Hooper and Ernest R. Hooper.

Earline is survived by her two children, David Peterson and his wife, Debbie of Lexington, and Dianne Roberts of Lexington; one sister, Judy Mundine of Cedar Park; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A private family graveside service will be held at the Lexington Memorial Cemetery in Lexington, Texas at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
