Jerry Olene Nash Allen, 80, of Colmesneil, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.

Jerry was born August 11, 1937 to Claude Benjamin & Ethel Alene Brown Nash in Rockland, Texas. She was a lifelong resident of Colmesneil and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude & Ethel Nash; husband of 48 years, Freddie Lee Allen, Jr.; sister, Thelma Lee Maltese; and brothers, Paul Nash, Ray Nash, James Nash, Mack Nash, and Gordon Nash.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Allen of Colmesneil; son Jeffrey Allen of Colmesneil; sister, Vera Marie Winters of Colmesneil; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends & loved ones.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 from 5-9 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church near Colmesneil, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with burial to follow in Davis Cemetery all near Colmesneil. Officiating will be Brother Milton Powers and Brother Jack Lewellen. Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Nash, Tim Nash, Andy Nash, Wesley Tompkins, Will Ward, J.B. Tally, James Nash, Michael Nash, and Jerry Adaway. Honorary pallbearer will be Gary Winters.
