Kathleen L. Phillips, 82, Brownstown, died at 1:37 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Mrs. Phillips was a member of Brownstown Pentecostal Church and was a licensed practical nurse. She lived in Florida for 25 years, moving back to Jackson County in 1999.
Born May 12, 1921, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of Gilbert Nelson Harris and Tillie Laverne Jackson Harris, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Harry Davis, who preceded her in death, and later married Herbert Max Phillips, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter of Crothersville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Lavena Rose Zook and Ruth Laverne Carr, both of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steve H. Phillips, and a sister, Helen Lucille Ball.
Ron Cox was to conduct services at 1 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia. Burial was to take place at White River Valley Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Hoosier Christian Village.
