Mrs. Brooks was a native of Hancock County and lived in Baldwin County most of her adult life. She was the daughter
of the late David Batchelor and the late Lillian Johnson Batchelor. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband, Walter Brooks of Milledgeville; daughter, Sylvia Davis of Milledgeville; son, Chad Meeks of Milledgeville; sisters Eunice Edenfield and Alice Brett, both of Milledgeville; one grandson, Corey Davis of Milledgeville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
