Barbara Sue (Hartline) Meyers, 73, of Anadarko, Oklahoma was called home by the Lord on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at her home on Square Top Road. Barbara was born November 20, 1944 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Tommie & Edith (Gibson) Hartline. Barbara grew up in Chickasha. She attended Chickasha Schools, later receiving her GED. Barbara met her sweetheart, Lloyd (Whimpy) Meyers and they were married on March 28, 1964. He preceded her in death on August 16, 2014. Barbara worked hard her whole life starting at a young age. She helped her mother at their laundry mat, and also worked at the Big Burger in Chickasha. She also worked on the farm helping Lloyd. She could tell some stories of "The Good Old Days" about herself and Jean Mathis driving the old tater trucks, and her and Bernice Jarel hauling cattle to Oklahoma City. Barbara worked at Altec Lansing, Maremont, Delta Faucet, and Great Plains Correctional Facility until she retired in 2007. Barbara loved her family, friends, neighbors, and her very special cat named, Ms Kitty, who ruled the house. She loved her son-in-law, Gary, and often bragged on how wonderful he was. She enjoyed swimming, water skiing, roller skating, and going to Laughlin, Nevada with Lloyd and their friends. She also enjoyed visiting with friends while playing "The Bull" machine at the Gold River Casino. Barbara would look forward to the end of each month as she and Connie would go to the Fort Cobb Bank, often taking the ladies some kind of treats. She enjoyed this very much!

Survivors include her daughter, Connie Isaacs and her husband, Gary of Anadarko, Oklahoma; son, Tracy Meyers of Oney, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Betty Hartline of Lindsay, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren along with numerous cousins, other relatives and many loving friends. Her special friends: Darla Crowell, Jean (Mathis) Ross, Phillip and Louise Nunn, Cookie Sullivan, Elmer and Irene Abshier, and Eunice Wedman-House.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; her parents, Tommie and Edith Hartline; her in-laws, Walter and Alta Meyers and brother, Bob Hartline.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Anadarko.
