Hugh was born April 1, 1940 in Gadsden, AL, the son of Shelley and Theodosha "Betty" (Greenhaw) Bolt. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp serving in the Cuban Missile Crisis. Hugh attended GMI, Mott Community College, and U of M Flint. He retired from GM. Hugh was an elected UAW Union Representative with Local #659. He was also a member of the Masonic Fellowship Lodge 236 (formerly Davison Lodge), and a former member of the Holly Lodge. Hugh was also a 33rd Degree Mason and a Knights Templar Guard. He enjoyed sailing and carpentry.Husband of the late Louise K. Bolt.
