Mishawaka-Alice Jean Alleman, 92, died on January 9th, 2018.
Alice was the daughter of Edward J. and Elizabeth W. Hagan. She married Wilbur R. Alleman of Fayette, Ohio on September 18th, 1948 at St. Patrick’s Church in Peoria, IL.
She is survived by her son and daughter, James E. (Carolyn) Alleman of Ames, Iowa and Anne M. (Donald) Densborn of Niles, Michigan plus seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband (1999), as well as two sisters, Frances E. (in infancy) and Mary J. Donnelly (2003), and she is survived by a third sister, Shirley Frericks of Peoria, Illinois.
Alice was an executive secretary for 25 years with WNDU-TV at Notre Dame, Indiana, and was an avid volunteer throughout her life (scouting, parent-teacher service, and hospice care in South Bend; hospice plus hospital support in Peoria; and Illinois Prairie Library plus Snyder Village and St. Mary’s Church in Metamora). Private services were held locally handled by Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka.
