Mrs. Lou E. (Rixie) Ballou, age 90, of Paducah, KY, formerly of Brookport, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Ray and Kay Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home with Rev. David Siere officiating. Burial will follow in Pell Cemetery.
Lou was a lifelong member of the Brookport First Baptist Church and retired as head cook from Unity Elementary School in Brookport.
Lou is survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Rollo Rixie; 2nd husband, Bruce Ballou; five children, Betty Scillion, Perla K. Hodge, Rollo Rixie Jr., William Ed Floyd, and Mary Frances Floyd; one sister and one brother.
