Greenwood SC Broadus Franklin Hawkins, 91, of 224 Kitson St., died Thursday [November 6, 1997] at his home. He retired from Greenwood Mills as a carding room supervisor after 45 years and was a member of Greenwood Mills Quarter Century Club. He was a member of Lowell Street Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Lille Mae Busbin Hawkins of the home; a son, Ronnie Hawkins of North Augusta; three sisters, Ola H. Buzhardt and Angell H. Spivey, both of Greenwood, and Jimmie Lou Kirkland Hite of Lexington; one granddaughter; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Burial in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
