Frank Owen Walker was born on July 26, 1925, in Garber, Oklahoma and departed this life on Saturday, January 6, 2018, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 92.

Frank, the son of Frank Haskett and Mary Josephine (Owen) Walker, was a resident of Prague. He attended school in Garber and later served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Following his discharge he worked at Will Rogers Airport and eventually worked for Tinker AFB for over 30 years. Following his retirement, he moved to Prague. Frank loved fishing (especially for flounder), making beer, and making clocks. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his spouse, Olena Walker; gransdson,, Jeremy Walker; brothers, Howard, Paul, and Bill Walker; and sister, Genevieve.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Debra Walker of OKC, Billy D. and Judith Walker of Newalla; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Kathleen and Jim Backus of Davis; grandchildren, John Walker, Kimberly Falidine, Regina Pino, Jeremy Walker, Cindy Melton, Bonnie Kommer, Sheri, Ashmore, and William J. Bratton; numerous great-grandchildren.


A Graveside Service will be held on, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM, at Prague Cemetery in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
