Inscription information is from cemetery survey done by N. Fred Jordan Jr. of Walkerton N.C., July 6, 1981. This material was provided to Eddie Saunders of Randolph County who passed it on to me.
Further information from Mr. Jordan about this cemetery:
"Location: On property of D. H. McLeod on highway 134 in Montgomery Co., N.C., near the Randolph Co. line. Approximately 35° 30' Latitude and 79° 452' Longitude. The cemetery is in the middle of a cultivated field. It is overgrown and abandoned. Many of the graves are marked only with a foot and head stone. The early graves were those of the John (and Jonathan) Cornelison families. One broken headstone now removed listed a Major John Cornelison probably of the Revolutionary war."
