Lucien Woodrow Adams, 90, died January 6, 2018 in OKC. He was born February 13, 1927 in Bono, AR to Luther J. and Beechie E. (Watkins) Adams. He graduated from Okmulgee Tech with a degree in Refrigeration. He was a proud veteran of the Army Air Corps. Lucien was employed by Sears from 1951-1967 and was the owner of Adams Service Co. from 1967-1993. He was a member of the Refrigeration Engineers Society and the Silver City Antique Tractor Club. On November 4, 1950, he married Betty Jo Waddell in Cushing, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Betty; son, Darrell Adams and wife Neta; daughter, Marcella Shed and husband Steve; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Tuesday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Wednesday, January 10, 10:30am at First Baptist Church of Bethany with interment in Bethany Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Bethany or the American Cancer Society. Special thanks to Oklahoma Hospice Care for their wonderful, compassionate care.
