She was married to Dr Andrew Erwin McLaughlin Sr (1835–1892) on November 18, 1869 in Rutherford County, and he was the son of William Hart McLaughlin (ca 1787–1854) and his wife Catherine (Peebles) McLaughlin (1798–by 1850).
Living in Nashville, Nancy was 72 years old and a widow when she died at home on April 19, 1925. Burial was the next day in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
