He is survived by his mother, Mary (Mrs. Cecil) Trogdon, of Farmington; his wife, Doris Geraldine Herbst Eaves, of Farmington; two daughters: Catherine (Mrs. Steve) Brune, of Farmington and Mary Marguerite (Mrs. Bill) Rector, of Doe Run; two sons: Edward Joel Eaves Jr., of Farmingten and Daniel Brent Eaves of St. Louis; one brother, Milford Wood Eaves Sr., of St. Louis; six grandchildren and two stepsisters.
Mr. Eaves was a member of the Farmington Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Rose Croix, St. Louis Moolah Temple, ECMO Shrine Club, Moolah Temple Shrine, Farmington Elks Lodge and the Farmington Knights of Pythias Lodge.
Friends may call today at the Miller Funeral Home. BPOE memorial services will be held 7 p.m. today, followed by Rose Croix services at 7:30 and Blue Lodge services at 8 p m.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard J. Detweiler officiating. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.
