Teresa was born April 9, 1960 in Vinita, OK to Walter J. and Frankie Ruth (Glenn) Simmons.
She graduated from Miami High School in 1978. She had lived in Tuscaloosa, AL from 1985 2007 before returning to Miami.
Survivors include 2 sons, Michael Thomas Collins of Chesapeake, VA and Gene Hayden Collins of Miami, OK, a daughter Megan Elizabeth Collins of Miami, OK, her father and step mother Walter and Carolyn Simmons of Vinita, OK, her mother Frankie Callahan of Miami, OK, 3 sisters Julie Simmons of The Woodlands, TX, Debbie Brandon of Houston, TX and Kimberly Simmons of Tahlequah, OK and 1 grandchild Greta Collins.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Jim Land will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday prior to services. Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
