Born October 31, 1935 in Davie County, she was the daughter of the late June "Boss" and Grace Binkley Tutterow. She retired from Iredell County School System. Trudene was a member of Center United Methodist, loved her Sunday school class and her church family. She loved gardening, reading, sewing, fishing, family and traveling with her late husband.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Cecil Ray "Bill" Harris; two sisters, Lucille Beck and Bonnie Seaman, and two brothers, J.E. and Pete Tutterow.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Rick (Pam) Harris, Kathy (Rick) Kirby and Sandy Sparks; grandchildren, Melanie (Bryan) McDonald, Julie (Adam) Lail, Nick (Jessi) Kirby, Tara (Brian) Rucker, Corey Sparks, Casey (Boyd) Moats and Lauren (Jacob) Velba; great-grandchildren, Spencer Lail, Landon, Lily and Violet McDonald, Tate and Autumn Kirby, and Adelyn Moats; sister, Frances (Raymond) Livengood; sister-in-law, Peggy Sheek and many loving family and friends.
A graveside service will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 at 3pm at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery in Mocksville.
