Abner A. White, 64, of the Hastings Foster Home died Tuesday at the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.
A native of Arcadia, he lived in Hastings most of his life and was a longtime truck driver for the Safeway stores. He served in the Air Force in the South Pacific during World War II.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Brand-Wilson Mortuary with the Rev. Howard B. Franzen officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Omaha, with military rites at graveside.
White is survived by four brothers and six sisters. Memorials are suggested to the Hastings Foster Home Music Fund.
