He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rosie Thornton; daughter, Kimberly J. Thornton; and sister, Sandy Pearman.
Steven is survived by his wife, DeAnna Thornton; sons, Edward Thornton and his wife, Beth, and Barry McMahan Collins and his wife, Elsie; grandchildren, Joshua C. Thornton and Jacob Thornton-Morie; brother, Eddie Thornton and his wife, Jenny; sister, Rose Mary Pavelec and her husband, Paul; nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family members and friends.
The Memorial Service will be held 3 PM Saturday, January 13th at Blowing Cave Baptist Church, 812 Alpine Drive, Sevierville 37862.
