Alfred married Violet Polujan, they had one son Alfred Benjamin. Adam Wilczinski was Violet's second husband and her son Alfred's step-father who raised him.

Violet H. Wilczynski, 98 of Middle Creek Township, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in her residence.

She was born June 18, 1919, in Kingston, WV, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Polujan. She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, a member of the Christian Mothers Ladies Guild, choir singer, and loved making pierogies. She also worked in Evans Pastry shop for many years..

Surviving are her son and daughter in law Don & Kathy Wilczynski, 2 daughters Irene Cercone and Maryann Brown, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband Adam Wilczynski, a son Alfred Heibert, brother Joseph Polujan, 2 sisters Helen Czarnecki and Frances Bartimac, 2 sons in law Francis Cercone and Thomas Brown.

Friends will be received on Sunday from Noon til 5 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. From where a prayer will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. in the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, with Father Joe Carr Officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the In Touch Hospice, 1474 N. Center Avenue, Somerset, PA 15501.
