Lawrence Albert Woodhull, 73, of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on February 6, 1944 in Greensburg, Indiana, the son of Ralph and Mary (Beatty) Woodhull. Lawrence was a 1962 graduate of Sandusky High School. After High School he served in the United States Army. While serving in Germany, he met and later married his wife Elvira Roessler on April 29, 1966. Lawrence was an electrician at American Lifts for over 30 years before he retired. He was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include: Wife- Elvira Woodhull; Son- Michael (Sharon) Woodhull; Granddaughter- Sarah Woodhull; Great Granddaughter- Sophia Woodhull; Siblings- Charles Robert (Joan) Woodhull, Wayne (Alice) Woodhull, Wanda (Clarence) Heaton, and Faye Ziegler; Sister in Law Sharlee Woodhull; and several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by: his Parents; Brother- Raye Woodhull; and Sister- Charlotte Woodhull.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 11:00 am until the time of the Funeral at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Doug Givan will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to The V Foundation.
